NewTwitter Adds, Instagram, Slideshare & More

Twitter users can now access multimedia content from, Instagram, Rdio, Slideshare and Dipdive without leaving, the microblogging service has announced.
This brings the total number of multimedia services to 20, including earlier partners YouTubeYouTube, FlickrFlickr, Ustreamustream and iTunes.
In a blog post, TwitterTwitter outlined the functions of the five new services:
  • Watch more than 50,000 independently-produced Web TV shows.
  • Instagram: View mobile photos, personalized with Instagraminstagram’s colorful filters.
  • Rdio: When a subscriber Tweets out a song, you can listen to full-length songs right inside the details pane, for the first time ever.
  • SlideShare: Read and share entire presentations, directly on Twitter.
  • Dipdive: See photos, videos and new works from Dipdive’s community of artists.
Twitter promises that more multimedia content partnerships will emerge in the next few months.
