Mariah Carey is singing Jenny Craig’s praises.

The singer showed off a fit and healthy figure in a short, shimmering silver dress in a video for the diet brand.

Carey, a spokesperson for the Jenny Craig made headlines back in November when she credited the diet meal plan for her helping her to complete her 70 pound weight loss, following the birth of her twins last May.

She said that while she lost a good portion of the weight directly after the birth of son and daughter, working out was initially a struggle.

Carey, who says she "had a really tough pregnancy," couldn't exercise right away due to having a Cesarean section and credits diet as "90 percent" of the reason for her successful slim down.

“When you carry twins, that is a whole other thing so, physically, I went through it,” she told AbcNews.com. “I had never dealt with a physical thing like that.”

Carey, who is also a spokesperson for the American Heart Association, said that the weight loss didn’t just make her feel better about the way she looked, it made her think about her health -- and America’s weight troubles.

“I obtained a greater understanding of this when I was pregnant with my twins and dealing with my own health issues,” she said as the reason why she wanted to be the face of Jenny Craig.
